A woman of many hats.
Most of my work history has been working in medical field. I worked in hospice, hospital and adult day care. At one point I was a float for 2 Aurora locations which meant I had to be well at adjusted to all new scenarios. The last few years in medical field I was a float in one hospital. In one shift I could start in one department and be pulled to another mid shift. I ended medical primarily due to my husband work load more demanding and someone had to be with our children.
I found a work from home job at a small non profit company. My main role was to help with the enrollment website, communication and fundraise. But as time went on the budget could not afford a book keeper so I was trained to book keep. I learned a lot and work with an account who taught me even more. I left Bright Rising due to my youngest needs.
Before all the years in medical I worked as a short order cook. I was hired to work as a dish washer and helper for the cook. I was asked to cross train. That was a great experience but at the time I was focused on being in the medical field. I stayed in that role until I was hired from same company as an nursing assistant.
I have many hobbies and passion. Hosting has been something I do best at. The church I attended prior I was always in the kitchen at events and eventually joined an events ministry where I help put together event that could bring in funds and events for congregation. I still host primarily at home with small gatherings and a committed once a month bible study. I love trying new recipes and cooking. Other small hobbies tending to my chickens, gardening, crafts, vintage flea markets, attempting to make sour dough recipes. Being a mom keeps me most busy. My daughter Ella is 12 and son Oliver is 5.
