Helen Kelley

1986 graduated from Brooklyn technological school. I was hired in the same hospital that I did my clinical studies. I worked there for 3 years and helped about 50 patients daily. It was a lot of work but I didn't mind it.

Bayada Nurses

I worked as a CNA and CHHA. I was able to help take care of the patients while in the hospital than I helped transition to their home. I was able to take care of newborns while the mothers learned to take care of their babies.

I was able to work from pediatricians to geriatrics. I enjoyed the work and was very good at it.

Medishare was a company that would send me to private patients and again I helped with different types of cases.

I also worked for The Jewish Federation making sure that my patients were able to live in their home comfortably. My role included bathing and continued with ADL (activities of daily living) light cooking and cleaning also helped my patients exercise, and took their medication correctly. I would include them with every day activities.
