Serving as a Math Resource teacher and inclusion support teacher has created incredible opportunities to build relationships, to begin understanding how my student's learn and providing opportunities for them to be successful. Creating open communication lines with the parents has also allowed for a partnership to be built focused on their student.

In serving as the Brotherhood Pastor I effectively created opportunities for men to connect through events and discipleship studies. During this time I was also a part of the youth ministry team where we effectively collaborated, creating a culturally relevant, highly engaging worship experience for students leading them to experience life change..

For three years I was blessed with the opportunity to teach 3rd and 5th grade students math and science. In my experience of creating a culture built on trusting relationships and engaging lessons students experienced great success based on their individual needs.

Serving as the Children's Pastor I had the opportunity to oversee all aspects of the ministry primarily in grades Kindergarten thru 5th Grade. I lead an incredible team that were inspired and empowered to focus on creating an atmosphere of love with high energy worship, creative curriculum and exciting opportunities for connection within the community.

As an assistant principal I had the honor and privilege to work under the leadership of some of the greatest educators in the field. This experience allowed me to see and understand all aspects of what make great schools great. Other than day to day operations and administrative roles my responsibilities varied but the primary focus was to be a support for campus leadership, to work with educators to build a community focused on giving every child the opportunity to learn at their full potential, and to build a rapport with students and families allowing a partnership in learning to grow.
