- Bonding fabricator: Assembly a variety of materials together to form aircraft parts for a commercial and military aircrafts. Materials include graphite, adhesives, fiberglass, honeycomb core, and unidirectional carbon fabric. Reading blue prints for detailed specification. Strong attention to detail throughout the entire process. Using laser projection software to assemble materials according to specifications and operating overhead cranes to move tools. Autoclave bagging of parts. Operating machinery called a Sqrtm press by Radius engineering. Using prepreg materials to layup the part, then the part in placed into its formed tool and placed into the Sqrtm where the vacuum is pulled for the tool, the heating process begins, followed by the injection of resin and proceeding to a cure cycle.
- Quality Inspector: Inspecting a variety of aircraft parts using inspection equipment such a the romer arm which is a coordinate measuring machine, digital calipers, polyworks software and reading blue prints. Operating overhead cranes to move large tools. Working closely with supervisors about any concerns.
