Hope Gillispie

Aspiring graduate student with a strong background in research methodologies and a passion for academic inquiry. As a research assistant, I have developed proficiency in utilizing various databases and libraries to support faculty and student projects. My experience includes conducting thorough literature reviews and synthesizing complex information, which has equipped me with strong analytical abilities. I am eager to advance my expertise and contribute to innovative research initiatives in a graduate program focused on collaboration and interdisciplinary study.

• I am currently volunteering with Oasis INC., a small organization in Boone, NC dedicated to supporting individuals who have survived domestic and sexual abuse. In this role, I gather and present research to deepen understanding of these issues and facilitate meaningful conversations.
• I am also a volunteer for Watauga Medical Center in the ICU, where I provide assistance during critical times while also expanding my skill set and ability to thrive in a multifaceted environment.
