My duties included communicating and coordinating activities within the company and other companies as well as the general public. I organized onsite services such drug screens, physicals and vaccines that may be needed by large companies with multiple employees. I was also in charge of the DOT drug & Alcohol consortium. My duties included registering the companies into the consortium, emailing the random selection notices to the companies every quarter and registered the results for the random drug and alcohol tests into the database. I was in constant communication with international and national trucking companies regarding the drug and alcohol consortium; communicating in Spanish both verbally and written was essential. I was also part of the marketing team that promotes and participates in sponsored events in efforts to offer our services to the general public.

As an agent for Kemper (Home Service Companies) I was responsible for a geographical area Known as the agency. With in the agency my responsibilities were to sell insurance products, serve policy holders by collecting premiums, making requested policy changes and assisting in payments of benefits, such as claims, cash surrenders, policy loans and maturities.

As a Boat Captain I was responsible for the safety of customers and personnel along with ensuring that the vessel is suitable for operations and that it complies with the laws. I also assisted as a deckhand; duties included keeping the vessel clean, harnessing customer and explaining to customers what to expect.
