I started digital design in high school and always found it interesting. Since then, as a hobby, I’ve been creating 3D models and designs through software such as Blender and Adobe. After I got into design programming, I realized how present these designs are in our everyday lives. Major companies such as Spotify and Pepsi have used software like Blender, Maya, and Adobe when making their ads, and seeing how creativity can reach diverse audiences motivated me to pursue a major in this area, which I grew a huge liking for. This newfound passion led me to a major that allowed me to use these abilities in a career in the future. I was on the path to declare a major in Communication—which seemed to be the closest to my goals, but as I have found in the recent months, Digital media and design is where I would like to end up in the future.
