 Work with youth and families in identifying strengths and needs, developing goals and facilitating activities/interventions that will support the development of interpersonal skills and parenting skills

 Engage youth and families in their natural ecology, conducting visits to their homes in accordance with program guidelines, to include working a flexible schedule that reflects the scheduling needs of youth and families

 Provides crisis prevention and response through safety planning and 24/7 support through on call rotation

 Will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing review of person-centered plans for youth on assigned caseload

 Links youth to necessary services and supports, acting as a liaison between youth and all involved service providers and stakeholders

 Maintains direct contact with all youth served in accordance with program guidelines and as outlined in all program agreements  Represents the program in court, facilitating all communication during court proceedings related to youth’s participation

 Monitors youth in accordance with juvenile court requirements  Keeps accurate client records which are updated in a timely manner and comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory guidelines

 Serves as an advocate and positive role model for youth and families in the program, providing reinforcement and recognition for positive behavior, maintaining a strengths-based approach to youth work

• Managed the school’s on-time graduation plan, by establishing a strategic plan to address the success of student retention, graduation, and academic and professional success of the students, resulting in a successful 95% participation for 2022’s graduation ceremony
• Cultivated positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders including students, parents, career coaches, counselors, faculty, administration, school service providers and community partners
• Identified and resolved institutional barriers by developing and conducting quarterly team meetings with faculty and staff to develop action plans to improve student transition success rates
• Established empowering and supportive relationships with each potential graduate with weekly meetings to develop and discuss individual graduation plans and progress, including progress reports, attendance, behavioral records, academic grades, and college and trade support
• Organized school’s graduation data, including the creation of a database, predictions and potential of all on-cohort graduates with weekly reporting
• Implemented and managed a new program for school re-entry and re-engagement for withdrawn students
• Spearheaded a successful COVID-informed graduation program, including daily outreach to increase student academic engagement, providing relative data and information to school community and executing a successful alternative graduation ceremony

• Provided Durham county high school students with restorative trauma-informed support through coaching, mentoring and behavioral development, in efforts to identify and aid in positive and productive development
• Managed and maintained youth database and reporting to monitor progress and opportunities for advancement
• Coordinated and delivered special events for youth, families and communities to build relationships, provide resources, and aid in successful futures for youth
• Developed, managed and delivered daily enrichment programs based on healthy life skills, financial literacy and enrichment
