• Sustain quality standards by performing routine chart audits which include medication reconciliation, diagnosis, treatment Orders, Physician notes, Therapy Services and upholding internal and industry best practices.
• Participated in evidence-based practice project implementation, nursing competency development and nursing simulation activities.
• Assisted in the creation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.

• RN Stroke, STEMI Program Coordinator coordinates the healthcare of select patient populations/designated service across the continuum of care
• Evaluates medical care of the Stroke and STEMI patients to ensure it is effective and in-line with evidence based and regulatory standards
• Responsibilities included Monitoring the care from Pre-Hospital to Emergency Department admission, through stabilization and transfer to a higher level of care or discharge
• Actively participate in the education and training of the medical and clinical staff in Stroke, STEMI care
• Identify deficiencies and opportunities in Stroke, STEMI care
• Responsible for data abstraction and analysis, and reports to Stroke and STEMI medical director regarding deficiencies
• Monitors care and data to optimize patient outcomes
• Coordinates the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care governed by evidence-based clinical practice
