Summary
I was raised here in Southern California for half of my life before moving to Northern California for my fathers work. Both of my parents are journalists who have traveled the world and covered a variety of topics. Their stories and their telling of the state of the world had a heavy influence on who I am today. I’ve always been interested in why people do things, and what we as a society can do to make this world a better and safer place for everyone. As I've grown and learned here in college and from life experiences I have realized that humanitarian work is what I want and need to do. I hope to use my degree here from UCSB, and further my education to be able to go into the humanitarian workforce and make the biggest impact possible.
