+Providing overall direction, coordination,mentoring and evaluation of the Ski and Bike Patrol Department personnel, including supervisors,leads,dispatch and line patroller's.
Providing daily supervision and management of Ski and Bike Patroller's.
Created and implemented safety protocols and procedures.
Communicated with the Resort Management and Marketing to ensure communication to staff,guests and public about current mountain conditions, safety measures and potential hazards .
Ensure all Ski and Bike Patrollers and medical staff are current on their medical certifications ( EMT, OEC, CPR. )
Worked closely with local emergency services, search and rescue teams, Village of Angel Fire EMS and UltiMed Urgent Care.
Directing the patrolling of all ski runs to assess trail conditions , identify hazards, determine grooming needs and provide assistance to public.
Coordinate the sweeping of trails at the close of ski operations.
Work with the Mountain Operation Director to determine when to open or close runs.
Direct the marking of hazards and monitoring the quality of medical care provided by the patrol.
Maintain current qualification and certification for ATF.
Lead avalanche mitigation work and snow safety program.
Lead Lift evacuation training and Search and Rescue.

Accomplishments
Beside being a Ski Bum I am also a Trout Bum, chasing trout ,char and grayling since i was a kid . When I was not employed year round in the ski industry I was guiding as a fly fishing guide In the White Mountains of Arizona working for the Troutback Guide Service , in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming for Two Rivers Emporium and in Northern New Mexico for Dos Amigos Anglers Fly Shop and guide Service .
I own my drift boat and have several hundreds of river miles and hours logged in rivers of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho.
Also posses an Oar Certification from Vail Valley Anglers.
