• Helping Latinos navigate the Medicaid registration process in rural areas by providing printed materials and making sure the are aware of the new changes that will possibly make them eligible

• Helped organized the community to collectively raised goods for families in need
• Organized fundraising events (Food Sales) with members of the community for individuals who has a chronic decease and need to cover medical expenses, incarcerated individuals who need to be bond out from an immigration detention facility, and for funeral expenses for families who cant afford funeral expenses and for sending the remains to latin american countries.
• Helped victims of crime to navigate the justice system and be the liaison with law enforcement for legal purpose
• Helped immigrants victims of crime to get mental health resources for their healing after experiencing trauma
• Guided undocumented immigrants to get information on existing resources in the community at free or low cost
• Created spaces for immigrants to advocate for themselves to change policies who have impacted their daily lives for example, not having access to same resources as other residents due to their immigration status
• Accompanied immigrant families to visit their loves ones at the federal immigration detention center in Georgia
• Helped undocumented immigrants to create a safety plan after being assaulted or robbed at a gun point.
• Interpreted for Spanish speaking parents when requesting any type of services who don't have bilingual costumer service
• Assisted families when love ones have been detain by immigration officials and in deportation proceedings until they are released
• Organized educational videos on social media to help the community to make healthy decisions and to create awareness on social issues that will impact their lives

• Manage and trained 25 community health workers to learn how to enter patients data.
• Organized Covid-19 vacination and testing events in multiple counties in NC
• Trained 25communitty health workers to learn how to do Covid-19 testing
• Organized food drive events in neighborhoods in rural areas for latino families in multiple counties
• Coordinated the interpretation services team at the five months massive vaccination event organized by NC,FEMA and the National Guard
• Orgnized virtual events to provide information on Covid-19 prevention and to invite the latino communitty to get vaccinated
• Developed strategies to better approach latinos and inform them about the Covid-19 vaccine
• Participated in several virtual meetings with Latin-19 to update health care physicians on ways to improve the health care system for the immigrant based on the ground work
• Advocated for housing for immigrant families who didn't have a place to isolate when diagnosed with Covid-19

• Coordinated interviews with more than 100 victims of crime to get their statements to identify their eligibility for a U Visa
• Manage appointments for immigrant clients
• Visited detainees at Federal Immigration Detention Centers in Georgia and Florida to get statements for their legal representation after being arrested by ICE
• Interpreted and translated legal documents for Spanish speaking clients

• Recruited 100 youth to enroll and our Latino Outreach Program Enlaces in three Middle Schools
• Organized monthly workshops for latino parents to learn how to navigate the school system
• Organized weekly workshops for youth during school time to learn how to be successful in school, make healthy decisions, how to apply for early college and how to improve the communication with parents and school staff
