Accomplishments

  • While in High School I was made the Varisty basketball team as a freshman. I played for a coach that was very demanding and strict but that never stopped me from trying my best. I work fairly well under pressure. I would put in extra work on the side to continue to be better than what I wanted for myself. I never had a goal because I never wanted to be satisfied with the bare minimum. I ended up getting "newcomer of the year" as a freshman, I got "most valuable player (MVP)" as a junior, and I got "most defensive player" as a senior. Those are great accomplishments I was able to achieve in something that was important to me.

Affiliations

  • I'm huge on working out all the time, it's a great interest of mine. I enjoy lifting weights and setting certain goals to improve in weight every week. It's a stress reliever for me so that's something I'll continue doing. I enjoy going on runs as well, I was never a runner in high school or ever in general but I got into a lot of cardio after I graduated so I look to run almost 2-3 times a day along with lifting weights. I love being active, I love the sweat and adrenaline. I've became the best version of myself thanks to working out so much. I have a balanced diet, I like to watch what I eat because eating right is a big part of your energy levels and productivity.

Responsibility and patience

  • I consider myself a very responsible person. I'm reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. I understand the importance of meeting certain obligations and living up to my promises. I'll forever take action and be prepared to admit when I'm wrong because that's life whether we like it or not and we're all human so I've always been responsible in that aspect. I'm a patient person and it's helped me be the person I am today. I'm someone who can remain calm and composed in frustrating situations, taking time to understand a situation before reacting, showing empathy towards others, and being willing to wait for results without getting easily annoyed. Working as a substitute coach at an elementary has proved my patience more than usual. I work with about 5o-60 students on a daily basis so I've learned to de-escalate situations when students are arguing or fighting. I feel dealing with these situations will prepare me for the future.

Being a people person

  • I'm someone who is naturally friendly, outgoing, enjoys being around others, and has excellent communication skills. I build easy relationships with people because of the person I am. I have a very positive attitude and I've been told by a lot of people I bring around good vibes. I like to listen to people and show interest in their experiences. I have a lot of empathy for others and I can relate to others emotions. I love communication, I can express myself clearly and comfortably in any type of conversation. I like to prioritize building strong connections with people everywhere I go. Working in a school environment has also taught me to be able to work with different people. I feel confident in saying I get along with most if not everyone I work with. I've created such good relationships with my coworkers and that's where being a people person comes in.
