Hi, my name is Ivan Sambor. I am 27 years old, I live in San Diego, California, and I graduated from iHigh Virtual Academy in 2018. After graduating a year later,I moved to Poland for a while and lived in the Capital of Warsaw also known as Warszawa. I came back to the US when Covid hit and decided I enrolled myself to Paul Mitchell The School in downtown San Diego to learn about hair, where I met a variety of different customers with different hair textures, beliefs, and cultures. Yet I have always had a passion for aviation and traveling so I decided to apply to Unifi Alaska as a ramp agent. I have been at Unifi Alaska for 2 years and 5 Months. I have learned a lot about aviation as a ramp agent, especially ensuring the safety of myself, my coworkers, customers boarding the aircraft, flight attendants and pilots at anytime during the operation. Working at Unifi has taught me safety is the number one priority. I love being able to help customers when I get the chance to and have great connections with the flight attendants on board. At Unifi Alaska we also preform securities on international flights coming back to San Diego to ensure the plane is safe and secure to fly in. I have also learned about time management, handling cargo, guiding aircrafts in/out and execute ground service protocols. I am a committed, ambitious, and a career focused job seeker. I am also skilled in working under pressure and adapting to new situations/dynamic environments and challenges. Proficient in communication and problem solving. I also speak Spanish and English fluently and have a certificate with the seal of Biliteracy presented to me when I graduated iHigh Virtual Academy.
