Summary

As of July of 2022 I have been working with students, grades 7-12, at the Independent Studies based charter setting at OFY SB3. I am experienced with guiding students through personal learning plans to achieve academic objectives by the means of facilitating an independent learning environment. Prior to my role as an Independent Studies teacher I instructed 180 10th grade students in the traditional school setting. I believe my strengths as an educator to be the following: the ability to assess student needs and provide them with appropriate accommodations, cultural and multi-racial inclusivity of all student backgrounds, and the ability to be highly flexible in any teaching environment.
