Jabril McKeithen

Lawrenceville,NJ

Summary

Throughout my time in many different departments I have come to value everything that I was able to learn. But as time has passed I realized that I have different goals and passions in mind. One of those being able to work in the medical field and helping everyone that's in need. With all the skills I have acquired from everyone that has crossed my path I believe I can become the best version of myself in this internship and be there for anyone who is need. If accepted I would love to absorb any and all knowledge from mentors and peers within the facility.

Letter of Recommendation

08/02/18, Louise Senior, Morven Museum & Garden, 55 Stockton Street, Princeton, NJ, 08540, 609-240-6543, Lsenior@morven.org, I heartily recommend Jabril McKeithen for employment. He worked under my direction at Morven Museum and Gardens in Princeton during the five-week Isles summer internship program (July 2 - August 2, 2018). The students from the Isles YouthBuild Program in Trenton worked at Morven tackling landscape tasks such as clearing, edging, mulching, and planting, as well as other general chores. In addition to learning basic landscaping skills through hands-on experience, the group participated in activities intended to increase environmental awareness. A secondary focus of the program was teaching responsible behavior in a professional setting, and exposing all interns to new places and opportunities. Jabril is a physically strong, hard worker with a robust sense of self-esteem who is eagerly looking forward to furthering his education at university. Though he had never before worked on gardening tasks, and most aspects were entirely new to him, he eagerly pitched in on heavy duties even on the hottest of days. He listened carefully to instructions and to our guest speakers, asking questions that demonstrated his intellect and curiosity. Despite his quiet, serious demeanor, Jabril has an amiable personality, ready smile, and is at ease with public speaking. He willingly helps others without being asked, and I believe this thoughtful young man has high leadership potential. It is a pleasure for me to recommend Jabril McKeithen as an employee.
