Participated in or led more than 10 essential quality improvement programs to maintain accurate and timely laboratory testing, meet customer needs and increase patient outcomes. Subject matter expert for clinical chemistry and routinely acts as a lead technologist in the department. Oversaw the implementation and validation of several automated verification processes. Trained and oriented new medical technologists and military students to perform and interpret tests. Established and monitored quality assurance programs and activities to maintain accuracy of laboratory results.
