I've been playing bass for 12 years(I learned how to at School of Rock), and guitar for 4. I have experience performing live with bands in every genre and style. I toured with a band on the West Coast for a month, performing original music. I understand how to use technology like pedals and in-ear monitoring systems from my experience performing as a bassist in church. I have experience writing and recording music through multiple DAWs, as well as composing music for game and film soundtracks through music notation software.
I've been taught bass lessons by Victor Wooten, Joe Santerre, and Christopher Loftlin at Berklee College of Music, as well as several great bassists at School of Rock. I'm currently going into my fourth semester at Berklee, where I am majoring in Film Scoring with a minor in Game Scoring. I also make beats, produce, and know how to market musical content on social media platforms effectively. In my experience as a student at School of Rock, I understand how the programs work and how instructors and directors do their jobs effectively. I also learned how to work with a tight-knit community and a brand that's very well known around the world. I gained experience working with and teaching younger students in rehearsal spaces, so I am prepared to teach them in private lessons.
I also learned many valuable skills in the three years I worked at Jimmy John's, including communication skills, how to build relationships with my coworkers, and how to manage my time effectively.
