While my time at Madison Correctional Institution I have completed multiple skilled training services. These include training programs like CIT, which is Crisis Intervention Team, this helps you de escalate certain situations and to bring erratic situations to a more subtle environment.
I have completed multiple training assessments in Mental health, this is a good accomplishment to have in any work environment so you know what to look for in employees or customers noticing if someone has been acting differently or their facial expressions etc. This will help determine weather to get a supervisor involved to help said employee or customer in anyway needed.
I have completed multiple firearm trainings this helps with the safety of utilizing a firearm, when needing to use a firearm and the precautions of the firearm.
I have also completed trainings in drug use and what to look for and ways to locate drugs.
I have completed a lot of trainings that help with. the safety of where I work, the safety of staff, customers, or any other living being in or around the area.
The biggest certification I have is my CIT which helps with de escalation and to help with people who are mentally challenged or people who are going through as hard tragic time.
