Facilitates intensive academic-focused classroom sessions on various wastewater topics for trainees, aiming to train wastewater theory to assist trainees in their licensure pursuit. Works closely with O&M managers during day-to-day operations, leading trainees to learn and accomplish expected tasks. Works closely with O&M managers and Plant Engineering to disseminate operational changes to WPOs and WPO-ITs. Conducts new-hire orientation. Assists various O&M staff during formal wastewater courses and informal learning opportunities. Maintains training records, supervisory records, progress and probationary evaluations, and disciplinary records. Participates in pre-hire assessment of prospective hires. Works closely with the Safety Dept. to maintain a high quality of safe work and LOTO compliance while working closely with O&M employees and managers to implement practices.
