I have competed in bodybuilding and been very heavily into health and fitness since I was 18 years old in the year 2017. I have competed in 4 shows and most recently a National Show here in Charleston, SC. I do still plan on competing in the coming years after I have settled down and have a stable/ steady income and job. My overall goal with bodybuilding is to one day earn professional status in the industry, because I believe that I have the potential to so. My motto is that, why would you want to waste the potential and skills that you have been blessed with, when there are people out there who don't have that but still go above and beyond and achieve the same things if not greater, without being blessed with the skills or potential to do so. This comes from the story of my little brother. He was diagnosed with transverse myelitis, inflammation of the spinal column, from the waste down causing him to become paralyzed at the age of 12. He was superiorly more athletic the rest of the kids his age and it was taken away from him. Over 6 years time, he relearned how to walk, run, and even played varsity sports. By the age of 18, he won a state title in Nebraska High School wrestling and achieved a dream that seemed unreachable when he was 12 years old. That's my motivation for the motto that I have stated above and what keeps me disciplined to be better every single day.
