I started out as a lineman but got moved up to a Line Foreman. As a lineman, I did all the bucket work which entailed sagging wire, making up jumpers, laying up wire, hanging transformer banks, and framing poles.

I tallied pipe as a derrickhand on a pulling unit. As a mechanic, I drove the pulling units as well as maintained them and the crew trucks.
