Working with youth as a basketball coordinator and Sunday school teacher has taught me how to communicate effectively, build trust, and inspire young people to reach their potential. In basketball, I organized schedules, resolved conflicts, and fostered teamwork, skills that translate directly to collaboration and problem-solving in the Senate. Teaching Sunday school helped me develop patience, adaptability, and the ability to convey important messages in an engaging way. These experiences have prepared me to connect with and uplift the youth and young adults of today, encouraging them to engage in civic responsibilities and take an active role in shaping their futures. In an internship with the Senate, I hope to use these skills to create initiatives and resources that inspire young people to participate in government and make a difference in their communities.
