As I was a host person, it was my responsibility to assist management with the preparation and communication of the daily floor plan with my team. In addition, I would also monitor the dining area for any potential seating concerns or rotation conflicts between the servers. Due to the high volume of the outlet, I would also assist the team with clearing tables in order to expedite the seating process. Maintained the order and cleanliness of the waiting area during peak periods and large event evenings. Building relationships with our team and many of our regulars provided me with the tools to meet the challenges of working in this high volume dining restaurant.
