Being a host for two years have taught me how to interact with strangers more effectively and build relationships with people i never would have imagined. I also became more receptive to criticism and learned its okay to not always get along with people ; its all about growing up. Another thing i realized was that having a positive attitude was crucial to doing my job well. i learned that mistakes are inevitable, but how you handle them matters. working in a restaurant, which is fast paced, chaotic environment, made it harder for me to be affected just by anything and increased my motivation to have more of a leader mindset.
