Summary

I am very interested in being hired for the position of Customer Service Officer. The time I spent in the 311 Communication Center as well as the extensive experience I have gained over my entire career working for County of Sacramento including 12 years at Sacramento County Sheriff would make me a well rounded candidate. During the time that I worked in 311 Communication Center I became more included in the budget. I assisted the Customer Service Chief in budget preparation by providing current needs in the Comm Center as well as researching the particular dispatch equipment and made cost comparisons. I kept track of all equipment. I helped determine what was needed versus what could wait depending on the budget: for example radio consoles, back up radio consoles etc. I made suggestions about what we should or shouldn't purchase when it came to time to replace equipment that was end of life etc. depending of course upon the funds available and what our funds/budget was. I created new dispatching steps and trained the staff on them. I trained staff on all procedures. I worked closely with all departments and attended all meetings to discuss their needs. I triaged a myriad of issues emergency and non emergency on a daily basis. I am skilled in Comm Center management, scheduling of staff and collaboration. I am comfortable working in fast paced environment.
