CCNA-certified cybersecurity professional with hands-on experience in SIEM, incident response fundamentals, and network security, currently completing an associate degree at NMCC and pursuing a bachelor’s in Cybersecurity at USM. I have practical skills in log analysis, basic threat hunting, and applying frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to understand adversary behavior, along with experience building security-focused projects such as an AES-based encryption/decryption web application.
My interests span SOC operations and red teaming, from monitoring alerts and triaging security events to studying offensive techniques and how attackers abuse networks, identities, and misconfigurations. Through 500+ hours of volunteer leadership and ongoing lab work, I bring a disciplined, service-oriented mindset and a long-term goal of serving in a military cyber role to help defend critical systems and missions.
Supported students and staff by locating, checking out, and organizing materials while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Used campus systems to manage records and patron data with a focus on confidentiality, integrity, and reliability of information.
Resolved patron questions and basic technical issues (accounts, printers, online resources), strengthening troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Collaborated with faculty, staff, and students, improving communication and documentation practices that translate well to incident response and SOC workflows.
Assisted with setting up, configuring, and maintaining campus computer systems and networks in an on-site environment.
Performed basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, cabling, configuration checks), reinforcing core routing, switching, and TCP/IP concepts aligned with CCNA-level skills.
Helped document device inventory, configurations, and procedures to support consistent operations and easier incident triage.
Worked with peers and staff to complete hands-on labs and projects that strengthened skills in network security, system hardening, and responsible handling of user systems.
