While finishing up my final years of college, I worked part-time on the weekends as a server. I was capable of combining all my previous skills and knowledge from both of my previous jobs, and building upon them. Being in the restaurant industry for almost five years taught me how to work in various fast-paced and stressful situations while keeping up with demand and maintaining a clean environment around me..

I worked at Meijer during the peak of COVID-19, where I was considered an essential worker. While working the night shift, I was typically by myself, where I learned how to manage an entire section of produce. I learned how to keep up with demand while maintaining a clean environment.

My first job was as a hostess, where I learned better communication skills and maintained professionalism while accommodating guests' needs. I was also taught how to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment with new challenges all the time.
