Work History
Eastern Regional OTR Driver
Swift Transportation
01.2025 - Current
I currently work here driving Eastern regional for swift transportation picking up and delivering loads to various cities/states. In a timely manner while also following under the FMC state and federal guidelines and regulations as well as company policy, practices and procedures.
Safety, here I follow and operate under the Swift transportation and DOT policies, rules, regulations and procedures. Being able to identify and escalate any potential hazards and concerns effectively to my driver leader and as well as the swift safety team.
Preparation is a big part of my job when preparing to go to shippers and receivers making sure I have a safe designated route for my tractor and trailer and looking for any safety observance signs such as weather, construction, interstate shutdowns, low clearances, and etc.
BTR9 Tier 3 TA TOM team
Amazon
04.2024 - Current
Here I worked at BTR9 as a tier 3 doing tasks like being a point of contact, TOMY runs, hostler moves, yard audits, vehicle and trailer inspections.
Safety, here I follow and operate under the Amazon and DOT policies, rules, regulations and procedures. Being able to identify and escalate any potential hazards and concerns to keep my coworkers and myself safe while driving, operating, and walking on the yard.
Being Hostler trained and also CDL Class A trained and certified to move and complete loads in a timely manageable manner while also knowing how to make reports DVIR, VTIs, and escalations.
While also emphasizing the purpose of the safety policies for instance for seal cuts drivers constantly ask why do we cut the seals and open the doors on the trailers for them. I explained we have a safety strap that we apply to the doors in case of scenarios in which a package, cart, or pallet could be falling out due to poor securiment or damage to securiment during transport.
YMS management here I am able to have a virtual look at the yard and utilize the system to assist/ call out/and/ communicate with my coworkers and various other teams within the building while being the point of contact.
Recreational Therapist
Covington Behavioral Health
01.2023 - Current
Here I work at Covington Behavioral Health, I am currently a recreational therapist to that does task like complete treatment plans, evaluate and assess clients, lead daily groups, and document group notes.
Adaptability: I worked with clients ranging from the ages of 12-80 years old :all with different mental and physical issues, creating developmental lesson plans for various units on the facility.
I create fun and innovative ways to impact their life through recreational therapy, which for many can be the difference between putting off/ or not doing their sessions at all too cutting sessions short, while also implementing different types of leisure and recreational coping skills giving them more choices in order to maximize the potential benefits of their therapy.
Documentation, these documents are critical to the patient’s needs and treatment and can have life threatening implications if not completed properly, accurately, and thoroughly.
For example I would lead daily developmental group activities having between 35-50 patients. In addition I would also complete around 6-8 one on one assessments which are state regulated and required to be completed within 72 hours of admission.
I would have to evaluate a patient’s cognitive doing multipoint simultaneous evaluations of behavior, self-risk, and cognitive functioning, etc. while also ensuring the patient does not create a dangerous environment for themselves, others around them, and myself.
CMS I use these skills that I learned under Acadia to help dictate, de-escalate, and determine the proper techniques for patient care that do not put myself, my coworkers at risk and reduce the overall risk to the patient themselves.
For example one night a patient who suffered with psychosis and I was able to recognize the symptoms to help determine the level of aggression the patient had to help determine the type of de-escalation skill used and being able to use verbal de-escalation skills vs. chemical and/ or physical de-escalation skills.
BTR 9 Tier 1 AA
Amazon
01.2022 - 04.2024
Here I worked as an Tier 1 AA associate completing various tasks within the warehouse.
I first began my amazon career working on the floor as a Tier 1AA. By being a team player I have been able to assist in keeping operational tempo to desired efficiency.
These tasks were not my direct responsibility at these times but I gladly pitched in. This at times increased my burden significantly to the point where some shifts I had as many as 3 different roles.
I have been recognised by management as a hard worker for the efforts I make. One example of this was during the christmas peak season of 2022. The avg scan rate desired by management was 115 pcs/hr, but through my skills in executing my job I was able to significantly overshoot that, and achieve a scan rate of 280 pcs/hr for a total of 1,400 packages scanned.
This however is only one example of my hard work and dedication with another being going out of my way to assist my coworkers in learning how to do their tasks more efficiently and passing on to them the knowledge I had in those operations.
Night Manager

Here I worked as a night shift manager completing food audits, handling nightly counts and deposits, preparations for morning shift, cleanliness, customer satisfaction/ conflict resolution, employee coaching and conflict resolution, and training personnel on proper procedures and safety per Jimmy John’s policy.
It was my responsibility to conduct weekly food audits to help manage food cost vs revenue generated in order to ensure that we didn’t over/under order in an effort to maximise revenue potential, while also conducting nightly deposits from the registers, preparation of the food for morning shifts, cleanliness, and management of 3-6 workers a shift.
