Hello,
My name is Gary T Riggs. I would love to explain some of my background. At a young age I was introduced to volunteering in classrooms at Worthmore academy through my aunt. She held a job there and me and my siblings would help out when we were teenagers. In high-school I used much of my free time help with sped students. These experiences stayed with me even as I worked through retail jobs and attending IUPUI.
Eventually I achieved a Bachelors Degree. I of course minored in Psychology for interest and fun. When I looked for jobs away from retail, I started looking for ways to help those with mental health conditions in psychology. While looking through these positions I found a company that helped Children with autism. I applied and loved working with the kids. That job was Autism Learning Partners. (A.L.P)
Through my experience at A.L.P I decided this was a field I would love staying in and helping children as much as possible. After that job I have gone through a few other companies looking for a best fit location that supports clients in the best way possible.

Facilitated developmental support for young children, including those with disabilities, for 2.5 years. Achieved childcare certifications and committed to further training. Enhanced learning experiences for children with autism through dedicated one-on-one support as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
