Jahir Montiel

Outside of work, my foundation in teamwork and leadership was built through high school athletics, including soccer, track, and cross country. These experiences taught me the value of discipline, accountability, communication, and working toward shared goals, while also developing the ability to perform independently. As a top runner, I led by example, motivated teammates, and shared strategies to help others improve which are skills that continue to shape my professional mindset and approach to teamwork. Today I currently work as a Store Manager, overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient performance and a high-quality customer experience. My responsibilities include setting goals, managing inventory, scheduling, implementing company guidelines, and creating store advertisements. I take a hands on approach by staying actively involved with customers, focusing on personalized, trust-driven service. By actively listening, learning customer needs, and remembering details such as names and preferences, I build strong relationships that encourage loyalty while recommending solutions aligned with each customer’s budget and goals.
