I greeted students and staff as they arrived each day to create a welcoming atmosphere. I monitored student attendance and followed up with students who were absent or not attending regularly through phone calls, text messages, and emails. I communicated with parents, probation officers, counselors, and other support staff to provide updates and coordinate services for students. I assisted students with completing online assignments, DMV practice tests, and other academic tasks. I provided encouragement, goal setting, and daily check-ins to help students stay motivated and improve their progress. I observed student behavior, offered emotional support, and helped connect students to counseling or additional resources when needed.
