Dr. Jaime Brower is a board-certified public safety psychologist with over 20 years of experience. She serves as the President of the American Board of Police and Public Safety Psychology (former National Chair of Examinations). As an innovative leader, she has been instrumental in developing best practices, curriculum, and standards for peer support within public safety agencies. Dr. Brower created the first-ever clinician training and certification program specifically designed for master's level and above clinicians working with public safety personnel and their families offering continuing education credits through the APA and NBCC. She has provided expert consultation to agencies across the country, helping them address complex challenges and implement effective wellness initiatives. Her expertise spans mental health and wellness, critical incident response, and psychological evaluations for law enforcement, fire services, corrections, EMS, dispatch, and military personnel. Dr. Brower’s commitment to fostering resilience and wellness, combined with her leadership in advancing evidence-based solutions, continues to support the mental health needs of first responders, their families, and retirees nationwide.
