Summary

My passion is working with preschool aged children. I believe in giving them opportunities to create their own learning. My teaching inspirations come from a combination of Reggio Emilia and the Project Approach. I am an advocate for social-emotional learning. A lot of my curriculum is based on STEAM. Working with academic students in my classroom has been a tool in my own growth as a teacher. I thoroughly enjoy supporting these students in learning about early childhood education from planning developmentally appropriate activities to learning how to document development and implement guidance strategies.
