Supervise & Mentor RBT Team:

Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to a team of RBTs to ensure

the effective implementation of treatment plans

Conduct regular team meetings to address challenges, share updates, and

provide ongoing training

Offer real-time feedback to RBTs to ensure quality care and compliance with

behavior intervention protocols

2 Oversee Treatment Plan Implementation:

Ensure that RBTs are consistently implementing behavior intervention plans

(BIPs) and skill acquisition plans (SAPs) as designed by the supervising behavior

analyst

Review and monitor the fidelity of program implementation and make

recommendations for adjustments as needed

3 Data Collection & Analysis:

Oversee the accurate and timely collection of behavioral data, ensuring

consistency in measurement techniques

Analyze client data to track progress, identify trends, and assess the

effectiveness of interventions

Assist in making data-driven decisions to modify treatment strategies or

interventions in consultation with the behavior analyst

4 Client Interaction & Therapy Delivery:

Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients, implementing ABA techniques to

address behavior and teaching new skills

Establish and maintain a positive therapeutic relationship with clients,

fostering a supportive and engaging environment

Implement behavior management techniques and reinforcement strategies

during therapy sessions

5 Collaboration with Behavior Analysts & Other Team Members:

Work closely with behavior analysts to ensure treatment plans align with client

needs and goals

Assist in the development and modification of individualized treatment plans

based on client progress and data analysis

Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and to provide feedback on client progress

6 Training & Staff Development:

Conduct in-service training for new and existing RBTs to ensure competency

in ABA techniques, ethical practices, and company procedures

Assist in the onboarding process for new RBTs, ensuring they are adequately

trained in client-specific protocols and organizational expectations

Provide mentorship and support for RBTs in their professional growth and

development

7 Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed and accurate session notes, treatment logs, and progress

reports in a timely manner

Ensure compliance with company documentation standards, as well as

confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines

Assist in preparing progress reports for families and funding sources, as

needed

8 Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Ensure that all services are delivered in compliance with the Behavior Analyst

Certification Board (BACB) ethical guidelines and the organization’s policies

Conduct regular audits of data, treatment plans, and session notes to ensure

adherence to best practices

Address any concerns or issues regarding the quality of care and report them

to the behavior analyst or supervisor

9 Professional Development:

Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of Applied

Behavior Analysis (ABA) and related disciplines

Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to maintain

certification and improve skills

Support and promote a culture of continuous learning within the RBT team

10 Family & Caregiver Support:

Provide guidance and training to families and caregivers on how to reinforce

therapy goals at home or in the community

Offer feedback and suggestions to caregivers regarding behavior

management strategies and the generalization of skills

Foster a collaborative relationship with families to ensure the client’s needs

are being met across all environments
