Summary

Starting with no experience in the field I rose to the position of trainer based on my abilities and work ethic. These skills combined with an affinity for communication helped aid in the process of training. From there I maintained my position, ensuring that new hires were capable and able to perform regular business duties. From this point, I was promoted to a shift supervisor where my expectations multiplied tenfold. I was not responsible for cash handling, inventory management, employee management, customer satisfaction, and accomplishing the expected goals. In every working situation that I have engaged in I have become a core part of the work-customer dynamic as I appreciate both sides. Through the upcoming 9 years of experience, I have come to appreciate, engage in, and encourage a work ethic based on the drive to succeed for oneself. I feel that my drive to go back to school and graduate while climbing within my own company is a testament to my ability to work hard and stay engaged. I have a true passion for business and finding new ways to succeed.

  • My current company relies on a metric based on customer satisfaction. The scale ranges from 0-100 with 0 meaning a horrible experience. Shift Supervisor

Starbucks
04.2020 - 01.2024
  • Active engagement with employees to communicate important events as well as promotions occurring within the company.
  • Played an important role in store operations as I was the main opener for the store. These responsibilities include cash management, inventory management, ordering products regarding our current budgets, and ensuring that operations can commence in the expected fashion.
  • In addition to being involved with ordering products, significant cash handling and recording was required not only for the company, but for the banks affiliated with the company.
  • Many requirements included advanced organization of products, current stock, cash flows, and cleanliness. All of these tasks were to be completed in an hour window regardless of circumstance. In times of late employees, I often had to step up and go above and beyond to ensure that business resumed better than before.
  • Often in situations where customers' expectations may not have been met, I would have to find solutions that made the clients happy without alienating my team. Balancing work relationships with work satisfaction is expected.
