I have participated in numerous volunteer activities including coaching youth club cheerleading, the Latino Festival downtown two years in a row now, the children's section at Blue & white day, making bracelets and serving food for kids at elementary schools, and multiple different events at Maranatha. I love to conversate and help to understand individuals. I have an intensely strong passion for helping people in need. I am aware of the importance of being kind to people, and understanding. Diligence and responsibility are two words I would love to use to describe myself. I am a team player, I love to work with others but I also can get work done on my own. I am currently a freshman at Muskegon Community College taking my pre-requisites in the process of hoping to begin the nursing program there to get my RN license.
Being a part of such a hardworking team like this was truly a gift that nothing could replace. I learned so much being around so many people every day and everywhere we went learning how to become a better team player and working with others. Not only did learn how to put my ideas with others to create something more, but I also learned how to become the most hard-working dependent version of myself. At multiple cheer camps, I was awarded for being most helpful, hardest working, and most focused. I enjoy not only thinking of how to better myself but what will also better the people around me.
