My responsibilities were administering injections, monitoring patient reactions, maintaining accurate medical records , providing patient education on injections and medications, ensuring proper disposal of medical waste, and adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Additionally, excellent communications skills, attention to details and compassion for patients are often emphasized.

Sub-Acute Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory treatment in the absence of respiratory therapists: oxygen

delivery and vent checks;

• Maintain airway patency giving appropriate tracheostomy care;

• Administer meds, immunization shots and treatments prescribed by doctors and document patient's

response;

• Tracheostomy, PEG, Gastrostomy Tube care, wound and dressing care;

• Assist in code and emergency situations;

• Total care for patients such as diaper change, bathing, oral care and range of motion

exercises;

• Count all narcotics/controlled substances at the beginning and end of shift.
