- Conduct random safety surveys of various city locations. Surveys include identifying safety concerns or violations; slip, trip, and fall precautions; Emergency light testing, AED inspection and replacement of either batteries and leads; Fire extinguisher inspection; confirm First Aid kits are fully supplied and in good condition. Report any discrepancies or concerns to various departments for correction.
- Present new employees safety orientation; conduct monthly CDL inspections; update monthly training status reports to Management.
- Incident reviews consist of creating a panel to discuss employee incidents and accidents, reviewing all documentation, accident reports, and invoices. Discussion among the panel to decide if an incident was preventable and to recommend actions to prevent incident from recurring.
