  • Currently under an awarded contract to develop/initiate a K9 integration course and Advanced Course of Instruction for Three regional SWAT teams in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • This will also encompass training over 35 Patrol K9 teams total throughout the year in advanced tactics and training.

  • Serves as a tactical canine instructor for technical subjects in classroom and field exercise settings for students from the agency and other Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and any other designated off-site locations.

  • Coordinate with MWD Division Supervisory Program Analyst and perform a wide variety of training, administrative and logistics functions. Resolve complex problems while performing interagency coordination, liaison, sharing and project development with the NSW community, USSOCOM, DOD and other government agencies.

Monitor the status of progress of work, and makes day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities. Make available written instructions, reference materials and supplies. Support MWD training events acting as Safety Officer and MWD training coordinator. Give on the job training to new employees; answer questions on procedures, policies and directives. Amend or rejects work not meeting established standards. Monitor working conditions such as having proper materials available, safety etc.
