Travel to patient's location with mobile x-ray machine to properly carry out radiologic exams predetermined by ordering physician.

Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to all radiation safety guidelines and protocols as well as ALARA.

Upload annotated exams utilizing PACS delivery system and advise radiologists of any pertinent information that could better contribute to patient's diagnosis.

• Follows prescribed techniques in administering general and specific X-rays
• (Adjusts equipment; determines proper voltage, current and desired exposure time; arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain position of patient; adjusts lead shield for patient safety
• Determines technique for ionizing radiation during radiologic exams
• Prepares barium preparation and other chemical mixtures for X-rays
• Observes patient and machine during procedure and reports unusual occurrences and records patient's condition
• Process and annotate exposed cassettes in accordance with radiographic techniques
• Cleans and disinfects X-ray room and equipment
• Prepares patient for X-ray: explains procedures, transfers patient to table, positions patient and assists patient at end of procedures.

• Transporting residents of facility to and from hospitals, medical appointments, special events, and other various destinations
• Maintenance and inspections of company vehicles and daily logs
• Communications with scheduling departments, residents, and medical offices
• Operation of wheelchair lifts, ramps, and safety mechanisms
• Customer service at front desk.

• Supervise 25+ direct here staff at 15 acre facility whose mission is to safeguard and educate 60 adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Conduct ongoing training to enable staff to provide efficient and continued active treatment to individuals in all aspects of daily living
• Areas of training include habilitation, recreation, communication, behavior/intervention, horticulture, health and personal hygiene, community integration, and independent living
• Gap from May 2016-July 2019 was due to family emergency/relocation.
