Summary

I'm a hard worker. I learn new skills fast. I have worked with computers at home and at work for as long as I can remember. Used many applications Such as; Microsoft Office ( mostly Excel). At my current job I haven't had much use for these skills. I'm sure with a brief training I could jump right back in. I have been loyal to companies that treated me well. I've had very little gap in my work history since High school Graduation. I did work as a temp briefly before I started at Hertz. I have worked primarily in customer service my whole life. My first job at 15 was Arby's. I don't think I'm very good at it. I'm kind of socially awkward. I try ,but alot of customers perceive me wrong. I took the online course in Automotive Technologies in my spare time. I wanted to learn how to work on my own cars. I do have a degree in it.

I started as a Security Guard. My duties were opening and closing of premises. Most of my time was spent at the exit gate of the lot. I would check the rental contracts and licenses of our customers. This was to ensure they were in correct vehicle and license was valid. I also helped with any customers' concerns like damage to vehicle. Also keeping track of movement of our fleet of inventory using our fleet control system. About 13 years ago my job was changed to a more Customer service and sales based position. Additional duties were added. Upsales of our cars and selling our convenience products like insurance and refueling.

I started at Waco Oil a few months after graduating High school. I was a cashier starting out at one of their Shell gas stations on Mt. Zion Rd. I was in customer service and also stocked during down time. Helped with inventory. Kept accurate records on our safe deposits and withdrawals. Summer of 1997 i was promoted to assistant manager. I would take care of the store when Manager was off. I would do end of day balancing of receipts. Accurate counts of tobacco products. Scheduling employees when needed. Using Excel to keep accurate counts of daily profits and losses. Order stock when needed. Working with various vendors. I got really good at it so they made me a floating Manager I would take over other managers stores while the were on leave or vacation.
