The Senior Field Supervisor in the solar industry oversees and manages field operations, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of solar systems. This role requires extensive knowledge of solar technology, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
Key responsibilities:
Field Supervisor’s responsibilities include ordering equipment that is necessary for the project at hand, scheduling delivery of the equipment, and reviewing the equipment budget to ensure that there are no-cost overruns. Train and mentor field staff to execute and complete lighting installs efficiently under Southern CA Edison inspection protocols.
Collaborate with interior designers to understand project requirements and design preferences for new construction residential cabinets plus accent lighting installations.
Utilize industry-leading cabinet design software to create detailed drawings and 3D renderings of custom cabinetry solutions.
Develop innovative designs that optimize space utilization, functionality, and aesthetic appeal while adhering to budgetary constraints and project timelines.
Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware to complement the overall design concept and meet client specifications.
Provide accurate cost estimates and material lists for proposed cabinetry designs.
Communicate effectively with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless implementation of design specifications and quality control standards.
Builder (BU) build and repair wood, concrete and masonry structures; performs rough, finished carpentry, and masonry; install sheet rock, paneling, ceramic tile, millwork, trim, and perform paint and preservation; build forms, mixes, places, and finishes concrete for various types of projects; operate and maintain carpentry and cabinet making shops; build and repair waterfront structures; make estimates for materials and labor for construction projects; and maintain individual combat readiness and perform tasks required in combat and disaster preparedness or recovery operations.
