Leadership Experience

I am responsible, self-motivated, and I like to lead by example. I believe that actions speak louder than words. I enjoy working hard and making suggestions on how processes can be improved so that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved. Shortly after being hired at Dominos, I was given the responsibility to train new employees/other drivers on how to use the Dominos Delivery System, and how to troubleshoot problems with deliveries if they should happen. I was trained on how to account for funds at the end of each shift, prepare inventory reports to ensure the store had enough product to conduct business, and I assisted in training new employees. I was also trusted to close the business at the end of the night, ensuring the kitchen was fully cleaned and prepared for the next shift to begin their workday.

Communication Skills

I have experience in effectively communicating with my bosses and the customers’ I have served. As a delivery driver, I was responsible to effectively communicate with other drivers to ensure all orders were delivered timely and that all shifts were covered. I was required to communicate with customers about their preferred delivery method before, during and after the Covid pandemic, as the method of delivery changed as many customers opted for contact-free delivery. I would receive written instruction on the customer’s preferred delivery method and adjust how I delivered customer orders. Some orders required phone communication to clarify delivery instructions when the written instructions were not made clear. I can effectively use both written and oral communication skills to conduct my day-to-day business and I am comfortable asking questions if I am unsure how to proceed if instruction is not clear. I have used the training I received in the food and retail industry to establish myself as a real estate wholesaler, where I am able to effectively communicate with realtors, property managers, and individuals looking to buy and sell their homes directly. Maintaining a clear line of communication is essential in any line of business.
