Operations Specialist III

Fluor Government Group
04.2011 - 07.2012

Worked on a Dept of Defense contract.

Mission: To logistically remove unwanted or unused inventories out of Afghanistan before DCMA audits were performed by DOD. Fluor won contract from KBR and KBR (Cheney) provided Fluor zero (0) accounting of DOD inventories.

Additionally, I led a team to create a software program that allowed easy transfer of DOD inventories back to military from Fluor.

I also discovered a fault within Fluors procurement system that was corrected and ultimately solved all in-country procurement issues.

My last assignment in Afghanistan was closing down small FOB's throughout theater of war as US military footprint shrunk.

My largest account holder offered me a financial position with Fluor. My family were former military and I felt it was my duty to help and see other parts of the world. Off to Afghanistan I went.
