- I was Lead Operator on the SSU Commissioning Operations Team for the project, representing the Operations Dept. in daily briefings, Commercialization Meetings, etc.,.

- Also was a key contributor in the development of the SSU's Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) as well as pre-startup, post-startup normal & abnormal conditions and controlled shutdowns.

  • As Operations Supervisor, part of my responsibilities included oversight of operations personnel operating & maintaining multi-stage vertical turbine pumps, sedimentation basins, multi-layered water filtration systems with various types of filter media, underground clearwell tanks, ground level & elevated storage tanks as well as gasoline & diesel-powered engines used for emergency applications. Additionally, experience and responsibilities included creating 12-hour rotating shift schedules incorporating vacation & offsite training classes and training experienced & entry-level operators. Also looked upon to coordinate Operations’ day-to-day duties, preventative maintenance, and other tasks with upper-level management. Safely performed startups and shutdowns of the water treatment process and all associated equipment.
