Started scheduling within our facility that reduced stock outs in raw materials by 90%
Began using visual metric boards that allow leadership, myself included, to know the status of any
production line with a Gemba through the facility
Reduced labor hours per unit on primary production line from 8.1 to 7.07 in the past 6 months
Developed a culture around safety that observes, coaches, and corrects 12,000 unsafe conditions and
behaviors in a year
Full P&L responsibility and have increased the OI ratio from 9% to 13% based on the labor savings
above.
