  • Facility's operating plan included a 3% growth
  • Year to date the facility is ahead of the plan's target by nearly $1M and ahead in the Operating Income by approximately $250K
  • Started scheduling within our facility that reduced stock outs in raw materials by 90%
  • Began using visual metric boards that allow leadership, myself included, to know the status of any production line with a Gemba through the facility
  • Reduced labor hours per unit on primary production line from 8.1 to 7.07 in the past 6 months
  • Developed a culture around safety that observes, coaches, and corrects 12,000 unsafe conditions and behaviors in a year
  • Full P&L responsibility and have increased the OI ratio from 9% to 13% based on the labor savings above.
