All throughout High school I participated in four different varsity sports. I competed in football for three years, wrestling for a year, powerlifting for a year, and Track & Field for two years. I learned important life skills. I learned how to work diligently, push through hard times, and time management. Being the throws captain for my Track & Field team taught me important leadership skills as well as how to work and adapt in diverse environments. Sports taught me how to be a team player and to resolve conflicts with teammates in an calm, quick and respectful manner. My time volunteering at summer camp in Florida gave me hands on experience addressing physical and emotional needs. The experience taught me how to stay calm under pressure and finish every task given. My work as a caregiver enhanced my companionship and helped strengthen my keen sight for accuracy in my work.
