-Managing the schedule to ensure that department staffing levels are met

~Supervising and assisting crews with day to day tasks such as vehicle checks, maintaining clean and safe working environments and completing required continuing education

~Managing day to day vehicle issues including moving vehicles in and out of service and keeping records of such up to date

~Reviewing charts to ensure they are completed and locked at end of shift or within 24 hours if granted an extension

~Establishing a command presence while also ensuring that staff members maintain the ability to make decisions and feel supported
