  • At NanoString, rotating each quarter, I lead process area teams including the quality control team, the media and buffer team, the cartridge team and the plate team for the nCounter System which is our benchmark system we sell to researchers and universities.
  • I also produce buffers that go into our spatial biology machines, our newest line of products, as well as train new and existing employees.
  • Outside of the lab I work on change packets to update SOPs, initiate and investigate deviations and non-conformances, run NAV production orders on batch records and lead meetings relating to projects I work on.
  • Projects I’ve worked on include being the project manager for a dashboard implementation project for cartridge team where I wrote the project charter and work breakdown structure for the stakeholders of the project, authoring and updating the cartridge 5s lean principle playbook for managers and leads, implementing Power BI for tracking products through its stages of production and editing VBA code for an Excel calculator to automate data analysis.
  • I also have crossed trained on the backbones team where I learned ExoPrep, code selection and arraying and I have experience with running machines and instrumentation including the NanoDrop, UV spectroscopy, the Hamilton, liquid Handlers/ plate fillers, re-rack machines, presses and heat sealers.
